Support our efforts to expand access to prenatal care and midwifery services in the Española Valley!

Located in Española, we aim to serve people in the Upper Rio Grande Valley region. Our service region extends an hour from our office location. We serve anyone who is willing to drive to us and plans to birth in Española as well as home birth service to Española, Santa Fe, Los Alamos, Abiquiu, Ojo Caliente, the eight northern Pueblos, Embudo, Dixon and the high road to Taos (Truchas, Peñasco, Chamisal, etc). Whether you want to birth at home or at our clinic, we offer clients compassionate support, education and culturally relevant midwifery care that will help them achieve a safe and satisfying birth experience.

Community Care Model

Our Community Care Model honors birth as ceremony and honors all families' cultural traditions around the birthing experience. As a full spectrum birth center, BMH offers a range of high quality services.

Free Weekly Food Distribution

We offer FREE weekly food distribution every Monday — if you’re located in the Española Valley and are in need of food, please reach out to us at 505-753-0505.

Indigenous Postpartum Baskets

We offer free postpartum baskets filled with local foods and herbal support for Indigenous birthers. You do not need to be a client of ours to receive a basket - please call our office to coordinate pick up 505-753-0505.

Young Parent Engagement

United Young Parents is a bi-weekly support group for young parents in Española offering an opportunity to share a meal, socialize and share stories with other young parents in a safe, supportive space that is drug and alcohol free.

Community Support Group

Tauz TamuPovi facilitates a bi-monthly community support group. It's an opportunity to check in with yourself and go inward alongside others seeking support.
